I hope your week is going well. Excuse my angry looking face, on the contrary, I was actually have a good day. I wore my very first skirt that I made with a Singer that I bought out of my own pocket. The sun was out and the weather was quite pleasant. 28390944_unknownA few years ago I was at Hancock (fabric store) minding my own business when I ran across this kente fabric. I bought the entire roll of fabric and went home and sewed this skirt.28389728_unknownThe necklace and earrings I bought from an African souvenir shop in Santa Fe, NM called Jambo Cafe. 28390928_unknownI bought a plain bracelet and used some of my fabric to transform it into an “African” bracelet. 28391040_unknownThe headscarf is from left over fabric that I wrapped around my head to complete the look.28391120_unknown28391200_unknown28390160_unknown28389696_unknown28391280_unknown
