19th Century Feel

Part 1

I bought this two piece from some thrift store somewhere in the US a few years ago. I don’t remember much about it, except for the fact that I love it. The top has gold buttons and clasps, so I paired it with green and gold earrings mom got for me in Israel, and black shoes. The Fujifilm and glasses are just for show. 🙂img_0145It’s not a photoshoot if there’s no squatting involved. 🙂 Judge me not. 28075088_unknown

I saw this really cute coat in my grandma’s closet and tried it on, low and behold it was a perfect fit. Now my grandma being a large it didn’t make sense for her to have a small coat in her closet. Was it a friend’s? Or perhaps hers when she was my size? Nope. This gorgeous coat is her grandmothers, yes, my great-great-grandmother’s coat.  #VintageGeekModeActivated.28076384_unknownMy grandma was behind the camera and she saw it fit to have 90% of the picture be of her neighbors house and put me in the corner. The struggle.28076320_unknown28076416_unknownimg_0286Channeling my modern inner Audrey Hepburn. IMG_0181.JPGimg_0180Wearing: SHOES – BCBG, EARRINGS – bought in Israel, GLASSES – Forever 21, FILMFUJI – I bought in Taiwan (can be found on Amazon), TWO PIECE – thrifted.
